Dr.Manoj Wariyar, Chief physician and M.D. of Lakshmi Ayurveda Hospital hails from a family having rich heritage of Ayurveda. He is the grandson of great Aryavaidyan K.S.Varier, one of the disciples of Vaidyaratnam P S Varier.
Dr.Veena M Wariyar, Senior Physician, Lakshmi Ayurveda Hospital is an accomplished alumnus of Government Ayurveda College Trivandrum. She inherits the legacy of Ayurveda from her traditional ancestors.

Sharon - aged 20, was admitted with severe head injury in the Lakshmi Ayurveda hospital Tripunithura, on 15 /06/ ‘18. He had met with an accident two months earlier and had availed treatment at a multi speciality hospital in Ernakulam where they had performed Tracheostomy. After two months of hospitalization, the patient was admitted in Lakshmi Ayurveda Hospital, Tripunithura, At the time of admission, patient was bed ridden, food was administered through tube, catheter was inserted. Patient had lost speech faculty, suffered occasional convulsions and was disoriented.
At Lakshmi, he was put on Thalam first, followed by Nasyam, Abhyangam, Dhara and Kizhi supplemented with internal Ayurvedic medicines and Physiotherapy.
Patient regained speech on 17/07/ ‘18. He has begun to walk with support, He was discharged fit and fine.

Wound healing through Ayurveda
Patient named Premavathy ,aged 56 yrs, came to our OPD with a huge boil and inflammed swollen limb.
Initially , topical application with internal medications were given and the patient was admitted in our IP ward.
Later, after the boil ruptured a deep wound with slough was present,with thorough wound dressing with ayurvedic modalities for a period of 1 month along with our internal medications ,the wound healed completely.

MYOPIC ASTIGMATISM
Astigmatism is a common and generally manageable imperfection in the curvature of eye that causes blurred vision(distant and near ). It occurs when either the anterior surface (cornea)or the lens has mismatched curves.
Astigmatism is often present at birth and may occur in combination with nearsightedness or farsightedness.
SYMPTOMS
- Blurred or distorted vision
- Eye strain or discomfort
- Headache
- Difficulty with night vision
- Squinting
Astigmatism may occur in combine with other refractive errors,which include:
Nearsightedness (Myopia)
This occur when cornea is curved too much or eye is longer than normal.
Farsightedness (hyperopia)
This occur when cornea is curved too little/eye is shorter than normal.

Diabetic retinopathy is an ocular complication which causes damage to blood vessels of the light sensitive tissue of retina.
